Our Roofing History

Established in 1981, Tejas Roofing & Contracting began its roots in Houston, Texas with owners Roland and Deborah Tejada.  In 1984, Tejas began a long partnership with Sears as a roofing installer. Tejas also installed roofs at Astroworld from 1990 until 2004 when Astroworld retired from the Houston scene.  Tejas has worked with Re-building Together Houston since 1995-2020.  For nearly 40 years, we have dedicated our busines to serving the Houston area’s homeowners in times of need.
